Announcements

        • Ermel ES and Harris ES Schedule Update – Ermel and Harris ES students have a ½ day on Friday, May 24th.  The rest of the day is a Teacher Work Day.  Ermel and Harris ES tutors should report for the full day and follow the Teacher Work Day, Testing and Field Trip Policy in the afternoon.
        • End of Semester Stakeholder Thank You Letters (Reminder)– iEducate highly encourages you to thank coordinators and partner teachers for the support they have provided you over the course of the semester.  To support you in this, a Thank You Letter Template can be found here.  Feel free to use it or adapt it as a no-cost way of showing coordinators and partner teachers your appreciation.  Please also remember that per our Tutor Handbook, tutors are not allowed to give individual students gifts.
        • End of Semester Extra Shift Opportunity: (Reminder)– Tutors that are interested in signing up for additional shifts will have the opportunity to do that each week in the final month of the semester. Any extra shifts will supplement your regular schedule and will be added based on your school’s expressed need and your expressed availability during the days/times you are not already scheduled to work. Extra shifts will not be scheduled during non-instructional time or during periods coinciding with non-academic events.  Tutors  interested in extra shifts for the coming week, should submit an Extra Shift Form by 1pm each Friday. Please note: submitting a request form does not guarantee scheduling of extra shifts. School need must match up with tutors’ availability and some schools may choose to opt out of scheduling extra shifts.  The form for submitting interest in and availability for extra shifts can be found in the relevant action item.
        • Prioritized Student Changes (Reminder)– All tutors should go back to working with the prioritized students they were assigned before STAAR practice and the STAAR testing window. After testing, reach out via your cohort account if you are not working with the prioritized students assigned to you prior to STAAR testing prep.
        • Clock Out Procedure (Reminder)–  Tutors should plan to wrap up their work and clock out by the end of their scheduled shift.  If a coordinator or partner teacher asks you to stay after your shift, ask them to reach out to the iEducate Senior Manager assigned to their school to discuss.  Tutors that qualify for a lunch period during their shifts must clock into lunch at the start of lunch by pressing “Start Break” and must clock out of lunch at the end of lunch by pressing “End Break” in Deputy.  Lastly, as a reminder: all attendance related issues (including clocking in and out of shifts and lunch) should be directed to the Attendance Account @attendance. Accurate time and attendance records are critical for all stakeholders. We appreciate your support in ensuring these records are accurate.

After testing, reach out via your cohort account if you are not working with the prioritized students assigned to you prior to STAAR testing prep.
        • Cohort Session Attendance and Engagement (Reminders):
          • Attendance reminder: Cohort sessions are mandatory professional development sessions.  All tutors must attend cohort sessions.  If – for whatever reason – you cannot attend a cohort session, you are required to proactively alert iEducate via your cohort account.  Please make every effort to proactively alert iEducate as early as possible.  Tutors that have not proactively communicated an attendance concern and fail to attend the cohort session – or whose reason for the absence is not approved – will receive a write up.
          • Engagement reminder: Tutors should plan to attend virtual cohort sessions in a location that is safe, free from distractions and allows you to actively engage in Pear Deck with your cameras on at all times.   If you do not have access to a computer with a camera, please proactively reach out to your cohort account to alert staff.
      • Clock Out Procedure (Reminder): Tutors have been doing a phenomenal job clocking into their shifts on time. Please double down on your responsibility to clock out on time as well.  Tutors should plan to wrap up their work and clock out by the end of their scheduled shift.  If a coordinator or partner teacher asks you to stay after your shift, ask them to reach out to the iEducate Senior Manager assigned to their school to discuss.
